HOW DOES IT STAND UP TO CANADA'S WINTERS?
Rubacrete stretches to accommodate most substrate cracks caused by ground movement which, allows it to expand and contract with our freeze-thaw cycle. It is strong enough to have your contractor plow your driveway or use shovels on the steps. Salt does not harm it, and Ice Melter does not stain it.
DOES THE RUBBER FADE OVER TIME?
Rubacrete uses 100% EPDM UV stable rubber granules which are colored all the way through, promising a vibrant color that will not fade over the years.
HOW THICK IS RUBACRETE INSTALLED?
Rubacrete is installed at a minimum of 1/4 inch, up to as thick as needed to relevel uneven areas.
INSTALL / DRY TIME?
Rubacrete in most cases will be a 1-day installation; sometimes 2-3 days, depending on the preparation or border/logo design. Dry time is between 24-48 hours, depending on weather. In most cases you will be back on your new surface within 48-hours of us starting the job.
